Went and saw the last showing of this year's musical at Rocky, The Music Man. My "drunk buddy" from Crazy for You, Chris, was the lead ;u; And a few more familiar faces. Gaaaah is this what high school reunions are gonna be like? So happy, so sad!

COLLEGE CON AND BUDDHA MIIIND
College con was today! I was reminded when a couple cosplayers dropped by Ruthie's while I was at work; we weren't performing there this year but it was still going when my shift was over so I ran over and checked it out. Tons of booths and loads of cosplays as anticipated - I saw some Harley Quinns (both Suicide Squad movie version and old-school batman TAS version!), the joker, some Flashes (barry and a jay garrick!), a freakin Guy Gardner, a Faith from mirror's edge that I think mighta been the same Faith that was in Arashi a few years ago, and a whole buncha characters I don't even know lol. There was also this sick R2-D2 that was rolling

Medieval Fair 2
Med fair's this weekend! We didn't have as many people this time for taiko but Jake still organized a little performance, we played matsuri and hachijo and he's even been practicing with someone from SCA - met her today, she's really cool. I always remember how much I miss playin whenever we play lol.
The pirate ship was back! And the trebuchet, and all the awesome costumes! SOOOO many cool hats and skirts and tunics and stuff.
They also had some birds of prey there - these people from a refuge (I think it was) brought out some great horned owls (one was named Ritual, the other had some great stories about how they found him as a chick, bro

It's been fun to watch him progress from the "why not make a comic" to the sketching to finally the first couple of pages - all we know so far is, Jumpstart's an electrifying hijabi girl with a robot to punch. Check it out :D
